Walking for the Children

On April 29, 2006 Noah along with his youth group and many, many others across the nation walked for the Invisible Children. This walk was to make our goverment and the world more aware of the horrible happendings in Uganda and its surrounding areas. Noah and his group walked for an hour and a half i Santa Cruz and then slept on the sidewalk and walked an hour and a half back. This is what the children called "The Night Walkers" have to do every night to find a safe place to sleep. Noah said he felt good about doing, it was very, very hard and he was really really tired. Thanks Noah I'm proud of you....

photography walk

DeeDee and I have been learning how to use our new Rebel cameras. Thanks to DeeDee I now know how to change the aperture, adjust the shutter speed, focus on an object, and compose a shot like this...

We've been taking photography walks every evening when the light is best. Here are a few more...

Spring Break Part 2

Noah is feeling much better and is ready to go back to school. I'm sure this is a spring break he won't soon forget. Aaron on the other hand would like a few more weeks of hanging out with his friends and skateboard.

So what do you think of this picture? It was taken with my new camera and edited with the help of Deedee.

SPRING BREAK

Well the boys are on spring break and Aarons having a great time hanging out with his best friend Jake. Noah on the other hand is NOT a "happy camper". He's been sick since spring break started and as you can see by the look on his face he's not happy about me taking his picture.

It' Baseball Season

Here's Aarons baseball team that Glenns coaching. It's been a tough start, two of their pitchers are out with a broken foot and a broken arm. Aaron has been trying to fill in but it hasn't been easy since he usually plays first base.
